It’s the moment that Tolkien fans have been hanging out for since the credits rolled on The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey at the end of 2012… the first trailer of the second installment, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and today we’ve got it.
The 2:03 trailer doesn’t fail to excite. We get our first look at Orlando Bloom’s Legolas – has it really been 10 years since we’ve seen our favourite elf???? – we get Evangeline Lilly’s Tauriel, the human Bard the Bowman (Luke Evans) and the eagerly-awaited dragon, Smaug (Benedict Cumberbatch).
