Michael Fassbender is looking dapper and suave in the new photos for the upcoming film, The Counselor.
The Counselor is the film adaptation of Pulitzer winner Cormac McCarhy’s novel of the same name. The Counselor may not be the first of McCarthy’s novels to get the film treatment (All the Pretty Horses, No Country for Old Men, The Road), but is the first film with a screenplay by the author himself.
Directed by Ridley Scott, The Counselor tells the story of a lawyer looking to earn some quick cash by involving himself in a drug deal. Unfortunately for the lawyer, played by Michael Fassbender, things don’t go to well. As one would assume, backstabbing and violence ensue.
The film also stars Brad Pitt, McCarthy alum Javier Bardem, Cameron Diaz, and Penélope Cruz. If the adaptation doesn’t get you excited, the star-studded cast must.
The Counselor will hit the screen on October 25.
