The question of whether or not Glee will be doing a Christmas episode this season has kept fans guessing since Ryan Murphy tweeted on October 18, “Who wants to see Glee’s NEVER BEFORE AIRED Xmas special? Too hot for TV.”
We know there will not be an official Christmas album this year, but that there will be a Christmas episode, which they are currently underway filming.
On November 7, Lea Michele (Rachel), Chris Colfer (Kurt) and Naya Rivera (Santana) were seen filming at Burbank Mall. Photos from the set are beginning to emerge and show the trio dressed as some pretty cute Santa’s little helpers.
Reports from the set say that the musical number, “Here Comes Santa Claus” was filmed complete with candy canes.
There has been no word on where in the Glee timeline this episode fits in given that in the current season five timeline, we’re still in April-May 2013. We’re just hoping that we get our traditional Klaine duet, which looks like it may be a possibility with Glee’s DP, Joaquin Sedillo tweeting in answer to the question,
