After a rocky couple of years, the first stills from Mad Max: Fury Road have surfaced.
The film, directed by George Miller, was filmed in Africa. It also stars Tom Hardy, Nicholas Hoult, Zoë Kravitz, Riley Keough and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
“Mad Max is caught up with a group of people fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by the Imperator Furiosa (Charlize Theron),” Miller said about the plot. ”This movie is an account of the Road War which follows. It is based on the Word Burgers of the History Men and eyewitness accounts of those who survived.”
Originally due in 2010, the movie had to reshoot a couple of times and pushed back to a 2012 release.
It will actually release in theaters 2014 (hopefully).
