Earlier this year showrunner Gabrielle Stanton revealed that a female Doctor Light would appear in the second season of The Flash. On August 26, a new costumed metahuman appeared on set – could it be Doctor Light?
#TheFlash shot a scene last night with a new costumed woman.
Any clue who it is?

The black and white costume is similar, and it even looks as though there is a white headpiece as part of the outfit.
In the comics, Dr. Kimiyo Hoshi was an incredibly intelligent, but arrogant and egotistical scientist who was granted the power of light manipulation in a lab accident. She was inspired by Supergirl to become less selfish, and wound up becoming a member of the Justice League. Dr. Hoshi was a particularly good friend of Wally West, who is also set to appear later this season played by Keiynan Lonsdale. Doctor Light is also the villainous alter-ego of Anthony Light, a physicist whose powers were acquired through technology.
There has been no casting news, and the actress’ face is hidden in the photos found on social media. Who do you think will appear in the role? What do you think of the costume? Could it be another hero, or villain, altogether?
