He avoided it for as long as he could.
Ever since last month, former Scandal star Columbus Short has been a wanted man. The actor was MIA for a very important court appearance, which resulted in the judge issuing a bench warrant.
Well, Columbus has flown to the Barbados and has no plans of returning to the States to deal with his problems.
Unfortunately for Short, it was the SAME judge when he bailed on yet another court appearance and upped his bail to $500K.
Columbus finally returned to the States today and was promptly arrested upon arrival.
And now for the best/worst part:
Columbus was actually scheduled to appear this morning to deal with another court case, but because he was in custody, a SECOND bench warrant was issued and bail was set at 250K.
Things really aren’t good for him.
