NBC Universal just announced that as of July 9th that former Today host Meredith Vieira will become the host of her very own talk show.
Tentatively it is called The Meredith Vieira Show. This show, which has filmed a pilot episode in May, will include celebrity interviews mixed with lifestyle discussions.
The show is built on a set that is to look like Vieira’s home, which is supposed to include some of her own photographs that include her family and even some of her own furniture.
She has said that with her experience on Today and 60 Minutes taught her to be able to listen to people and let them have their own voice. She has also said that while she was the host of Millionaire that she got to joy out of having fun and changing lives.
