Can we all just take a moment to feel better about ourselves, not just as Americans, but as human beings?  I Wanna Marry Harry has been cancelled a mere month into its life.  That appalling foray into “reality” TV (a stretch of the word reality that I think even the most hardened of politicians would choke on) in which a look-alike “Prince Harry” served himself up as bait for young ladies true love with a handsome prince. Super romantic fairy tale that somehow failed to connect with viewers. I personally take this as evidence that there is a God.

The show Riot has also been cancelled, and for those of you who feel that a cross between Last Comic Standing and Wipeout has been sorely lacking in today’s TV offerings, this will be a day to mourn.  For the rest of us which, from the ratings, seems to be pretty much all of us (again, a reason to not abandon all hope for humanity), it’s not something that will be missed.

Fox will be running an encore block of comedy series’, including Family Guy, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, New Girl and Mindy Project. The remainder of the “Harry” episodes will be available on Fox.com and On Demand while Fox looks for other places to burn off the remaining episodes on its schedule.
