It’s almost that time of year again folks… the Super Bowl. Now many actually understand and watch for the game, the rest of us tune in for the half-time show and the amazing commercials. Now that’s all going to be a lot easier as Fox has announced that for the third year running it will live stream the Super Bowl.

February 2’s Super Bowl XLVIII coverage will kick off at 6.30pm ET from the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. US fans are able to tune into the game and associated spectacle on the FoxSportsGo app as well as foxsportsgo.com.

Luckily for us non-football fans, the stream will also include Bruno Mars’ half-time show.

However, before the actual footy fans start getting excited, Variety reports that this free live stream is a footy one-off. Fox’s Internet coverage of the post-season NFC games will apparently only be available to subscribers of a “handful of pay-TV partners” (including Comcast, AT&T U-verse and Cablevision Systems).

Make sure you stay tuned to Fox after the big game as special episodes of New Girl and Brooklyn Nine-Nine will follow the broadcast.
