The world just became a happier place. Zach Snyder has allegedly enlisted the brilliant Frank Miller to assist him in creating the upcoming Superman vs. Batman film.
Snyder’s trek to Comic-Con, accompanied by Man Of Steel actor Harry Lennix, yielded the announcement in the form of a quote from Miller’s Batman: The Dark Knight Returns series.
“I want you to remember, Clark, in all the years to come…In your most private moments, I want you to remember my hand at your throat. I want you to remember the man who beat you.”
In the series, this line is spoken to a broken Clark Kent by a 55-year-old Bruce Wayne.
Miller has claimed that he had no erstwhile knowledge of the announcement, reports The Independent; but did state that he is “going to be meeting up with Zach in the next few days to go over the plans” for what is sure to be an epic sequel.
Henry Too-Perfect-For-Words Cavill is set to reprise his role as the caped crusader, but Christian Bale has made it clear that he does not intent to don the Batsuit again.
The movie currently has a tentative 2015 release date, which is much too far away, if you ask me.
