Fox have announced that Freddy Prinze Jr is to appear in the upcoming ninth season of hit show Bones. Prinze Jnr will be playing CIA Agent Danny, who appears to have a history with Agent Booth.
Danny will come face to face with his old associate whilst Booth and Brennan are investigating a murder case.
Although Prinze Jr is only meant to appear for the premiere episode of this season, however he could be become a recurring cast member.
Prinze Jr, who is best known for films such as I Know What You Did Last Summer, has never appeared on screen with Boreanaz. However Boreanaz has worked closely with the stars wife, Sarah Michelle Gellar as Buffy Summer’s one true love Angel in hit show Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
I am STILL holding out hope for a Boreanaz /Gellar reunion, so if the Fox bosses are listening can you please make it happen.
Bones returns to Fox on September 16 9/8.
