Many different acts were more than lucky enough to be featured on the soundtrack for the Carrie reboot, which is heading into our theaters one week from this coming Friday. Haim, Vampire Weekend and The Civil Wars have been some of the lucky ones to make the soundtrack.
Julianne Moore and Chloe Grace-Mortez star in the reboot of the 1970’s version of the film, that starred Sissy Spacek and Piper Laurie, which was originally based off of Stephen King’s novel of the same name. The soundtrack will be released by Columbia Records on October 15th, just three days for the film hits theaters. The soundtrack includes Haim’s track ‘Let me Go’, ‘Dust To Dust’ By The Civil Wars and ‘Diane Young’ by Vampire Weekend. The Naked And Famous, Krewella and HAERTS is also featured on the soundtrack as well.
Chloe Grace Mortez recently stated that the new Carrie reboot was due for a March release, but ended up being pushed back in order to extend certain scenes and amp up the level of horror in the film.
Carrie hits theaters in the US on October 18th, but you can check out the trailer below!
