Fox fans, a familiar face is set to be gracing your TV screens soon. No, we’re not talking about James Frain, though we are talking about the same show.

Freshman series Sleepy Hollow has tapped John Noble for a juicy reccurring role. According to Deadline, the Australian actor will play Henry Parrish, a hermit who has powers. Parrish will help Ichabod Crane on his search for the infamous Headless Horseman.

Fans who are paying close attention will notice Hollow was created by Robert Orci and Alex Kurtzman, the very same people who created Fringe, which means that this will be a reunion for the sixty-five year old actor.

Noble is most famous for his role as Walter Bishop in Fringe. Internationally, he’s famous for playing Denethor in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. He’s also appeared in 24 (another long running Fox show that’s staging a comeback). He also voices the role of Unicron for Transformers: Prime.

Sleepy Hollow premiered last week to a staggering 10.1 million viewers. It marks Fox’s biggest freshman opening in seven years, their demos up 127% from The Mob Doctor‘s debut in 2012.

The show is set to air on the Universal Channel in the UK on October 9th.

You can catch Sleepy Hollow Monday at 9/8c.
