According to TVLine, Courtney Love, frontwoman of the 90’s grunge band Hole, has joined the cast of FX’s Sons of Anarchy for their seventh season.
Reports from Variety confirm that Love will play the role of Ms. Harrison, the pre-school teacher of Jax’s (Charlie Hunnam) eldest son Abel.
Her role will be pivotal, as her character will take a keen interest in Abel, which is likely to catch the attention of and spark an interesting reaction from Abel’s mother, played by series regular Drea de Matteo.
Although Courtney is no stranger to the silver screen, having starred opposite Jim Carrey in Man on the Moon and who can forget her Golden Globe nominated performance in The People vs Larry Flynt. This will be her dramatic TV acting debut.
Love is the second rock star to join Sons of Anarchy‘s seventh season. Marilyn Manson is also set to join the cast as a white supremacist, prison power player who has associations with Jax.
You can catch Sons of Anarchy‘s season 7 when it premieres this fall. Love will make her first appearance in episode 4.
