Brandon Routh is bringing his beautiful self to Starling City and the world of Arrow for its much-anticipated third season this fall.
Routh will be trading in his Superman tights for those of The Atom aka Ray Palmer. Ray Palmer is set to be the new owner of Queen Consolidated, the corporation once owned by Oliver Queen and his family before being taken over by Isabel Rochev (an associate of Slade Wilson) in season two before her death at the hands of Nyssa al Ghul.
Besides being the new owner of Queen Consolidated, Ray Parker/The Atom also has a plan for the ever-mysterious Applied Sciences Division of the corporation. I guess we’ll have to tune in to season 3 of Arrow to see what Palmer has in store for the Queen Family.
In the comic books, The Atom is known for his ability to change the size of his body, as well as objects around him. It will be interesting to see how this power will translate in to world of Arrow; especially after the torment that Slade Wilson rained down on Starling City last season.
