The web sensation The Lizzie Bennet Diaries will be getting its own novel, according to showrunner Bernie Su. The news that the novel adaptation is on the way was announced at Leaky Con last week.
Su has been quoted as saying “What you’re going to ideally see, or read, will be what’s kind of around the vlogs; it will be a companion to what’s already there and will be about what she already talks about in the vlogs.”
The book is expected to appear in the spring or summer of 2014. There is no further information on what form the book adaptation will take. However, it is expected to be in-character and include behind the scenes and in between vlogs moments from Lizzie. No author has been announced.
Many fans were happy with the announcement though for many it may feel like a world within a world, within a world. This novelization is in addition to the special edition of Pride and Prejudice, which was given away to supporters of the recent Kickstarter campaign.
