Move over Toy Story 3; it’s time to let it go.
Frozen is taking over!
This past weekend, Frozen broke some seriously impressive ground when it became the highest-grossing animated film at the worldwide box office with sales of $1.072 BILLION!
This puts the film ahead of the previous title holder Toy Story 3 which was sitting very pretty with $1.063 billion.
According to Reuters, “Frozen, which stayed in the top 10 films on domestic box office charts for more than three months, also has now become the 10th-largest grossing film in cinema history.”
Congrats to Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel and everyone involved with the movie. This is an INCREDIBLE feat!
