FXX recently purchased a massive deal, which gives them the freedom to put The Simpsons in syndication. To celebrate this, FXX has some very big plans for the show.

First of all, they will be marathoning all 552 episodes between August 21st and September 1st, airing all the episodes back-to-back, all day everyday. This will be the longest television marathon in history, which is apt for the longest-running show in primetime TV history.

Secondly, there will be an app called Simpsons World, where fans will have unlimited, instant access to every episode, and the opportunity to socialize with fellow fans, sharing content and exploring the world of The Simpsons.

The Simpsons will air in syndication on FXX starting after the marathon on September 2nd.
