(G)I-DLE Drops English and Chinese Versions of Hit Single “HWAA”

The unstoppable K-Pop group (G)I-DLE recently revealed their new EP with a mass amount of love both critically and commercially — and now the women are expanding with a re-release of their lead single “HWAA” in both English and Chinese.

The group’s new mini-album I burn has already drawn a lot of universal attention, claiming the #1 spot on iTunes in an impressive 52 countries, as well as #1 on the Apple Music Top K-Pop Chart. The video for the single “HWAA” is rapidly approaching 50 million views on YouTube in under two weeks, with the new English adaptation of the song receiving a lyric video from (G)I-DLE with almost 600,000 views in a day. This new project from the group gave many members a chance to get involved in the songwriting process as well, making this high-charting mini-album release even more special for the women.

As (G)I-DLE continues to expand their already adaptive catalog, the K-Pop group representing individuality has other massive turning points within reach — such as the inevitable point of hitting 1 billion streams on Spotify, and 1 billion views on YouTube.

At this point in their career, the group has gone above and beyond to introduce its various concepts to fans around the world, and this newest endeavor adds commentary to the intensity of heartbreak. If you’d like to check out the song or new album, you can check out (G)I-DLE’s streaming links here, as well as their YouTube channel for more music videos, bonus content and so much more.
