Gabriel Ayala, who has already made a name for himself on PopWrapped with his potent Veteran’s Day story, is back with some new music. Hot on the heels of his latest jazzmenco-flavored album, Live at the Mission, which was recorded at the San Xavier del Bac Mission in South Tucson for a live audience, the revered Pascua Yaqui guitarist is back with an impassioned cover of Sting’s “Fragile”.

It’s inarguable that Ayala does the classic Latin-flavored tune justice, incorporating his own brilliant style to the proceedings with relative ease to set his cover aside from the rest. He proves once again that he is a true master craftsman at what he does, his passionate instrumental music being an empowering blessing for many across the Tucson area that he calls home, and around the world.
