Gain Returns With New Album End Again

Ex–Brown Eyed Girls member, Gain, will return with a new album on September 9th.

Gain’s agency, Mystic Entertainment, informed listeners of the upcoming release of her new album End Again, her first since Hawwah appeared a year and a half ago.

The album will be issued in two parts. Part 1, End Again, will include 5 tracks. The fans will be able to enjoy it on September 9th. Part 2, Begin Again, will be released at an unknown date in the future.

To intrigue fans before the upcoming release, Gain has issued concept images with her changed appearance that were not revealed before. Gain always introduces some transformations for every new album, and she did not disappoint her fans before this new release as well.

Gain was the last participant to join Brown Eyed Girls. Composer Ahn Jung Hoon found her weeping after she was removed from the show Battle Shin Hwa, and invited her to audition in NegaNetwork, where JeA, Brown Eyed Girls’ leader, saw her.

In addition to the group’s activities, all members of Brown Eyed Girls are actively developing their solo careers, including Gain.

In October 2009, as a part of the Dream Team project from Samsung, four girls formed a temporary group, 4Tomorrow. It included HyunA (4Minute), UEE (After School), SeungYeon (KARA) and Gain.

The girls released a joint clip “Tomorrow” for Samsung Anycall, and, as part of the same project, they created six musical dramas of up to 10 minutes each.

Gain then started filming the second season of the show We Got Married, paired with JoKwon, the leader of the group 2AM. The reality show paired celebrities to show what it would be like if they were married, Gain and JoKwon lived in a virtual marriage for 15 months and separated in January 2011.

Together with her ‘husband,’ Gain released a joint single – “We Fell in Love”, which took the top spot of the music chart Music Bank for two subsequent weeks.

In October 2010, Gain released her first solo mini-album Step 2/4.

Later, Gain participated in MBC’s sitcom, All My Love.

In April 22nd, 2012 the release of a joint single of Gain and J.Y. Park/JYP, entitled “Someone Else” followed. Gain has also released other solo mini-albums – Talk About S, Truth or Dare and Hawwah.
