There are not many things that I am willing to wake up early for on a Saturday, but the Game of Thrones Exhibit in Toronto (at the Design Exchange) is definitely one of those things.

Toronto is the first stop of the worldwide tour that will see to New York City, Sao Paulo, Amsterdam and Belfast after the stint in Toronto is over on March 16.

When you first get to the exhibit you have the option of either going through it right away, or waiting in line for a picture on the iron throne (I went the iron throne route, I didn’t want to wait any longer) that they then print out for you with the banner of the house of your choice on it (Starks all the way).

When you enter the exhibit you are greeted with many pictures from the series and of course (what we all really like seeing) the costumes, props, and behind the scenes videos going into more detail about the different families.

My favourite part (apart from the iron throne) was the interactive game at the end of the tour.

You are an archer in the Battle of Blackwater (Season 2 episode 9) and your goal is to blow up as many ships as you can. Needless to say, I got my Katniss Everdeen on (or not, considering I only got 3/5 stars).

As if I wasn’t excited enough for the new season, this really was the cherry on top of the ice cream; HURRY UP, MARCH 31st.

I took a few pictures while I was there for you all to enjoy, you can see them below!
