The 52 year old comedian George Lopez was arrested Thursday night at Ceasar’s Casino in Windsor, Ontario Canada. He was scheduled to perform a show that night, and Friday night. The police told TMZ that “the comedian was arrested for public intoxication after passing out on the casino floor.”
“George Lopez passed out on the casino floor last night. And he was sent to the hospital! No Joke,” that’s what Chad Maura wrote on Facebook. He also put up a picture of someone who appeared to be Lopez in the casino.
While no charges have been filed against Lopez, he was put in holding so he could sober up out of the public eye. Lopez has been released from jail and will go on to perform tonight.
