Goerge Zimmerman, infamous for being charged, and eventually acquitted, for the shooting and killing of unarmed 17-year-old, Trayvon Martin in July 2013, has recently accepted the offer to take part in a celebrity boxing match.
Famous rapper The Game, who has a tattoo of Treyvon on his leg, offered to be his opponent stating that “I would not be boxing for me, I’d be boxing for the legacy of Trayvon Martin and for his family… I would box him to knock him out.”
Ironically enough, Zimmerman has stated that the only person he wishes to fight is Kanye West because “the rapper has a history of attacking ‘defenseless people.”
Other people who have shown interest in being Zimmerman’s opponents are Michael Lohan and DMX. Celebrity boxing promoter Damon Feldman will hold a press conference to announce Zimmerman’s official opponent for the match that will take place on March 15.
