Come one, come all! The BBC has released a special slideshow with all-new stills from Doctor Who’s Christmas Special, “The Time of the Doctor!”
“The Time of the Doctor” will see Matt Smith’s Eleventh Doctor leaving the show in the hands of Peter Capaldi, who will appear as the Twelfth Doctor in the final moments of the episode. Capaldi will return for a full season as our beloved Time Lord at the official start of season 8 in 2014.
As well as snippets of the official promo poster, the slideshow gives us a look at the Cybermen collective’s new appearance, Daleks at the scene of an explosion— extermination?—and Matt Smith in a cape.
Yes, you read that right. A cape. And he’s brandishing a Dalek eyestalk.
