Its time to get excited, C2E2 is just around the corner! This year’s Chicago Comic And Entertainment Expo takes place in the West Building at McCormick Place this weekend, and features not-to-miss moments such as Jason David Frank talking Power Rangers, a Batman Q&A as well as Batman/Superman 101, and a screening of Maniac starring Elijah Woods.

C2E2 2013 is to feature a MASSIVE number of guests from the world of comics, entertainment and literary! Highlights include writers and artists from both Marvel and DC comics, stars of The Walking Dead (Chad Coleman anyone? Chandler Riggs? Laurie Holden?), Game Of Thrones (involving James Cosmo and Natalie Dormer) and the Fifth Doctor himself, Doctor Who’s Peter Davison. Special mention also goes to a selection of actors from the Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise, and HBO’s True Blood. As well as this, authors of The Time Traveller’s Wife and the Goosebumps series shall be in attendance, as will guests from The Block – C2E2’s edgy and artistic design community. This isn’t even the half of it, so make sure to check out the website and see the full list of guests, and who will be available for AUTOGRAPHS and PHOTO OPS, as the majority seem to be!

An extensive variety of panels to suit everyone’s taste are also set to take place over the weekend. The IQA (International Quidditch Association) are running a ‘How to Play Quidditch 101’ panel on Saturday which is surely something not to be missed for all Potterheads attending! For The Hunger Games fans, there will be a costume exhibition featuring the outfits from the smash hit movie, and the expo will also present a vintage toys and pop culture exhibit and auction! Further highlights include an evening with legendary filmmaker, actor and writer Kevin Smith; in addition to a charity art auction, costume contests, a photo booth, meet-ups, and a C2E2 dinner.
