A few months before its release, we finally get another full glimpse at the hotly-anticipated sequel to the smash-hit comedy 21 Jump Street.
22 Jump Street is set to be released on June 13th, but due to the excitement stirring up for the film, they released a Red Band trailer and several film stills earlier today. This is a sequel to the first film which was based on a TV series that gave a start to none other than Johnny Depp decades ago.
The movie has Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum reprising their roles of Morton Schmidt and Greg Jenko respectively, two young detectives who go undercover again but this time at a nearby college to infiltrate a sinister crime ring in a fraternity while questioning their own abilities to be mature partners. Sounds promising, right?
This is the second film this year for directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller after the megahit The Lego Movie, which has received a giant box-office return and critical acclaim that shot through the roof. And what makes this collaboration even more amazing is the fact that Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum also starred in The Lego Movie as Green Lantern and Superman respectively.
