Fresh off the news that their hit Nickelodeon series will be returning for a second season, and just before their return to the big screen set for summer 2014, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have set their sights on conquering the gaming world as well. To get fans in the mood, EW has released a new character trailer featuring the brains of the group, Donatello.

Set in New York City and being described as having “hyper-realistic 3D-style” and “true to life” environments, as well as a combo driven battle system and the beat-em-up style, Out of the Shadows, will feature an up to four player co-op with each of the Ninja Turtles being available to play.

Just like their small screen counter-parts, the video game versions of Donatello, Michelangelo, Raphael and Leonardo will all sport their playful personalities that are as unique to the character as is their combat skills. As well as the Turtles themselves, players will be able to encounter some fan favourites along the way such as Master Splinter.

The game is being developed by Red Fly Studio, the same studio that gave us Thor: God of Thunder, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 and Ghostbusters the Video Game. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows will be available for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC and will be out June 26.
