On September 10, 1993 The X-Files premiered on FOX and changed the face of television forever, ushering in the first hit sci-fi show on prime time since the days of Tales From The Dark Side. Well here we are, 22 years later, and we still want to believe. The good news is, if Gillian Anderson has her way, that belief will pay off!
During a recent appearance on Chris Hardwick’s Nerdist Podcast, Anderson expressed her desire to revisit the beloved Agent Scully, saying, “It never felt like the last film was enough of an ending.” She continued, “We’ve talked about it; we’re up for it. It’s always in discussion.” As the discussion continues, Chris and co-host Matt Mira get more and more excited and finally, Gillian asks, “Should Fox do anything in their power to make this happen?” The answer is a resounding YES!
