Awesome news! Disney channel’s Girl Meets World is taking us back to the 90s. No, not really. But, they are bringing on a couple of Boy Meets World alums – Trina McGee and Blake Clark, Variety confirmed.
McGee, who played Angela Moore, the girlfriend of Shawn Hunter (Rider Strong), in the original series, and Clark, who played Shawn’s father Chet Hunter, along with Rider Strong as Shawn, himself, will both be stopping in on a season-two episode titled “Girl Meets Hurricane.”
If you remember Boy Meets World, Shawn and Angela dated on and off before finally going their separate ways, all this while Shawn’s father died of a heart attack. The character of Shawn’s father, Chet, continued to make appearances on “Boy Meets World” through memories or as a subconscious guide, and will be appearing the same way on Girl Meets World.
