Yikes.While many were left happy that Ryan Murphy pulled off the move to New York City, it appears it hasn’t helped ratings for Glee.
It has been announced that the current 5th season of Glee will see its episode order get cut from 22 to 20 after what is being blamed on fallen ratings.
However, The Hollywood Reporter mentioned that the episode cut was due to the production hiatus the cast and crew took after the tragic passing of star Cory Monteith.
BUT, you also can’t ignore the ratings drop.
Most recently, the most recently aired Tuesday episode fell to 2.6 million viewers.
Fans should expect the 6th and final season next year to have a shorter episode run at this point as well.
