Earlier, we teased a bit about what lies ahead for this season’s third episode.
We have already revealed some juicy details about the first two episodes of the new season. Tonight, we have news about the third episode.
As previously reported, Glee‘s third episode will be a “beautiful and fitting tribute” to the late Cory Monteith and his character Finn Hudson.
The show is doing so by choosing some truly wonderful songs about love, life, and friendship. Tonight we will be revealing the first of the songs chosen in dedication as the show embarks on one of its most important episodes to date.
Warning: There are spoilers past this point. If you do not wish to be spoiled, please stop reading.
”Seasons of Love” from the Broadway musical Rent will be one of the songs featured in the tribute as a group number from the cast.
The lyrics ask what the proper way is to quantify the value of a year in human life, concluding in the chorus that the most effective means is to “measure in love”. It’s safe to say that the show has chosen well by including this song as part of the wonderful tribute in store.
As a reminder, all proceeds from the episode’s songs will be donated to a charity set up in memory of Monteith.
