Everyone predicted this may cause Gosling fans some upset, however I didn’t predict the extent of how far this would go. Following suit from super popular film franchise, The Twilight Saga, which concluded late 2012, a ‘Twi-Line’ was set up for distressed fans, now it seems a ‘Gosline’ has been set up to comfort those affected.

Tesco owned film company, Blinkbox are offering the service with calls ‘charged at standard rate’. Distraught fans will be provided with some of Gosling’s most famous film quotes, with one example being: “So it’s not gonna be easy. It’s gonna be really hard. We’re gonna have to work at this every day, but I want to do that because I want you. I want all of you, for ever, you and me, every day.” (The Notebook) – I can imagine this one was chosen to empathise with the ‘pain’ most fans will be going through, don’t get me wrong, I think Ryan Gosling is a great actor, but it goes without saying that he needs

some

time off.

Blinkbox released this statement about the slightly bizarre service: “We couldn’t bear the thought of the distress caused by Ryan’s announcement. We hope that this goes some way to relieving the pain and hurt caused by his selfish decision to take a break.”
