Milo Ventimiglia rose to fame thanks to his role as Peter Petrelli in Tim Kring’s well-known sci-fi drama, Heroes. As it seems, the actor has now grabbed a part in one of the most promising shows to premiere this year, the Batman prequel Gotham.
The actor will be playing Jason Lennon; commonly known as “The Ogre”, he is a brand-new villain that has been created especially for Gotham. This serial killer is said to be looking for the perfect lady to spend the rest of his life with, just like everyone else. What he does differently is that he has a series of tests for each and every single one of them and guess what happens once they fail. It wasn’t really that hard to imagine, was it? Well, we can only assume it won’t take really long before we see him bothering detective Jim Gordon.
After Heroes, Milo Ventimiglia has not really been around in television a lot, but for a short run in Chosen. Apart from a couple of films, his recurring role in Gotham is the most spotlight-heavy piece of work he’ll have done in years. However, he’s making a comeback to the small screen with The Whispers, ABC’s forthcoming sci-fi thriller. Stay tuned!
