Michael Muhney, best known for his role as Adam Newman on The Young and the Restless was fired for allegedly inappropriately touching his co-star. The soap star announced his exit from the show on December 17 via twitter.

TMZ disclosed that actor’s sudden departure from the show was due to his 20-year-old co-star, Hunter King, notifying show executives that Muhney groped her on two occasions.
Muhney did not speak about the sexual harassment allegations while talking to HuffPost Canada TV, although he did express regret about his behavior on Young and the Restless.
“Part of me feels this is because I’ve always been outspoken, and sometimes I’ve been too outspoken,” said Muhney.
“Sometimes I’ve walked around with a big backpack full of hubris. That is entirely on me. CBS, Sony, and Jill Phelps are not to blame for that. If I’m going to claim to be a grown man, I have to own that. But it could be financial or story.”
