“Grey’s Anatomy” Cast Do Their Best “Orange Is The New Black” Impression

Netflix’s hit television series, Orange Is The New Black, has made quite an impact. Grey’s Anatomy star, Ellen Pompeo, seems to be a fan of it, or that’s what her latest WhoSay post reveals. In the actress’ photo, she’s joined by her co-stars and they pose as the cast of the prison-themed show.

“Blue is the new black”, Pompeo joked in the caption of the snap, as they are all seen in their blue scrubs. Grey’s Meredith actually turned out to actually be a huge fan of the series! Specifically, she replied to a fan on Twitter than everyone should be watching the show, commenting that the female stars are “giving it”. In the snap, the cast is seen doing their best impression of the girls’ attitude.

Before any assumptions are made, there is no proof of a crossover scheduled between the two series. If anything, the photo only catches the cast of the one imitating the characters of the other, during a fun moment. Ellen Pompeo admitted to being a fan of the drama after all.

Pompeo is preparing for a season focused on her character, Meredith Grey. The actress revealed that she might quit acting after the show comes to an end, but thankfully Shonda Rhimes, the creator, has stated that’s not happening anytime soon.

Grey’s Anatomy is returning with its 11th season, on September 25, on ABC.
