Grey’s Anatomy is coming back on September 25 for its eleventh season and it was time that we got some more information regarding the show. ABC has now revealed the very first stills from the show’s comeback episode, also known as the eleventh season’s first episode, “I Must Have Lost It On The Wind”.
The newly revealed photos for Shonda Rhimes’ megaseries return find Maggie, Meredith’s sister, jumping on board and working on what seems to be a pretty serious case. The two of them seem to be doing just fine in the workplace, but what could possibly happen once they know the truth about each other? Cristina and Derek are nowhere to be seen, but we can only assume they are not gone for good. However, we get to see all of our other favorite doctors getting to work.
ABC has also put out a synopsis of the episode, which spills a few more details regarding the very first episode of the new season. Give it a read and check out the stills below:
“With Cristina gone, a new doctor, Maggie Pierce (Kelly McCreary), making the rounds and Derek wanting to move to Washington DC, Meredith struggles to regain a sense of normalcy both at home and in the hospital. Meanwhile, Callie and Arizona come to a decision about surrogacy, Amelia overhears a big secret, Bailey realizes she will have to fight Alex for Cristina’s board seat and a freak accident causes two teenagers to be caught in a very compromising position”
