Ellen Pompeo, who plays Dr. Meredith Grey on Grey’s Anatomy, told AP that she was “really disappointed” with the Emmy’s this past Sunday. Pompeo said “I didn’t see any diversity in the Emmy’s at all. The Emmy’s feel so dated to me.”
The Grey’s Anatomy star added that “That dance number was embarrassing. Did you see one person of color in that dance number?” Neil Patrick Harris, star of How I Met Your Mother, hosted the Primetime Emmy’s this past Sunday. He was also involved in some comedy skits with Conan O’Brien, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler and Jimmy Fallon.
Breaking Bad, Homeland and Behind The Candelabara were the biggest winners at the 2013 Emmy awards.
