Our beloved Hollaback girl is BACK!!
In just announced news, Gwen Sefani will be making her return to ‘The Voice’ for season 9, once again replacing Christina Aguilera.
Gwen will return for the next cycle this fall, after completing season 7 as a coach/mentor.
She will be joining longtime, original coaches, Maroon 5 front man Adam Levine and country superstar Blake Shelton as well as the returning Pharrell Williams and host Carson Daly.
In a statement to Buzzfeed News, Gwen expressed her excitement over her return:
“I’m coming back and I’m so excited! I cant believe I get to return to The Voice. It’s so inspiring to be around such incredible talent and music. I’m looking forward to working again with Adam, Blake, and Pharrell. I love those guys,”
The No Doubt front woman brought a whole new level of coaching when she was last on board, so it’s a real treat to see her return.
Who knows, maybe she’ll pick up a win this time around!!
Maybe they can get Shakira back for season 10? Or Usher?
