Gwen Stefani Strikes Back With New Single, “Spark The Fire”

After making her way to the scene with “Baby Don’t Lie”, Gwen Stefani brings her quirk back with the Pharrell-produced “Spark The Fire”.

Gwen Stefani made her comeback to the scene this year with her first single in years, “Baby Don’t Lie”. With the oh-so-safe track paving the way for her return, she’s now gone all-in and pushed forward its follow-up, “Spark The Fire”.

This one finds her joining forces with an old friend and fellow coach on The Voice. The Pharrell-produced cut sees the No Doubt frontwoman returning to her roots. On top of a casually good Neptunes-like production, she raps and sings her way, bragging about her coolness and everything. “Spark The Fire” is definitely the kind of tune Gwen Stefani’s fans were anticipating for, as her exquisite quirk is all over it and she sounds amazing on it! Give it a listen below.

We first heard of the song when Gwen Stefani played a snippet from her iPhone on Ryan Seacrest. Then, Pharrell performed it in its entirety and later on, a short clip was included in a commercial. It was about time it dropped in full, wasn’t it? The track serves as the second offering to be lifted from her upcoming, third solo studio album. The music video is also on the way, with a little teaser recently premiering on Ellen. Take a glimpse below.
