Gwen Stefani Teases Pharrell-Produced “Spark The Fire”

After releasing “Baby Don’t Lie”, Gwen Stefani went On Air With Ryan Seacrest and shared a preview of a track she did with Pharrell, “Spark The Fire”.

Gwen Stefani is officially returning to the scene as a solo artist this year. The first step has already been made, with the release of her comeback single, “Baby Don’t Lie”. Either you love it or you hate it. Either way, the track serves as the songstress’ re-introduction to the scene, so of course it’s the safer song. As expected, she has more in store and proved so by sharing a preview of one of them.

During an interview with On Air With Ryan Seacrest, Gwen Stefani got to unleash a snippet of a new track. Titled “Spark The Fire”, the track was produced by Pharrell Williams. This truly is the electronic urban tune everyone has been patiently waiting for. She’s heard rapping in this small clip, while shouting the words with full swagger on. In addition to that, if you thought “Baby Don’t Lie” had the significant Gwen quirk in it, then you have no idea what you’re in for with this one. It might just be one short and unfinished clip of the song that we have here, but you can tell it sounds utterly amazing, and gets the old-Gwen-meeting-new-Gwen totaly right!

It’s true that “Baby Don’t Lie” has received mixed reviews, even though it’s not even half as bad as it’s being made to be. However, Gwen Stefani isn’t playing around with her comeback solo era, and it’s obvious with the modern-day Love.Angel.Music.Baby. sounds of “Spark The Fire”. Reportedly, it’s going to be the next single anyway, with a music video presumably already shot.

Take a listen to a snippet of Pharrell-produced cut below.
