It’s known for a fact that Marvel has Captain America: Civil War in the works and Iron Man is scheduled to make an appearance in it. Whether the latter’s beloved one, Pepper Potts, will follow, is a thing even Gwyneth Paltrow herself doesn’t know.
Word is that Gwyneth Paltrow will reprise her role as Robert Downey Jr.’s lady in the next installment of the Captain America films. However, the actress has only heard rumors about it, as she recently stated. “I don’t know. I’ve heard rumors that maybe, and I don’t know. My fingers are crossed. I would love to be Pepper Potts again at some point in my life.” she stated in a recent interview. Now that is being tight-lipped about a future project from Marvel’s side!
Despite still being unaware, if Marvel wants Gwyneth Paltrow in the film, she will most likely find out pretty soon. At this point, it is very much possible that Pepper Potts will follow her man in the cast of the third Captain America movie. After all, she’s been with him throughout all three Iron Man films and even had a small part in The Avengers.
