Even the wake of Iron Man 3 having an EXTREMELY successful opening weekend overseas, by hitting around 194 million at the box offices, beating out the record previously set by The Avengers. It looks as though this will be the last we will see of Tony Stark & Pepper Pots on their own. Although Iron Man 3 has yet to be released here in the United States, it looks as though this film is set to break more than one record!

Gwyneth Paltrow said “I don’t think there’s going to be an Iron Man 4, I think were done with Iron Man.” This is reported to be what she said in an interview done with Geeknation. Don’t you fret, Iron Man fans, if I know anything about the film industry, I think it’s a safe bet to make that the money Iron Man 3 has already brought in from it’s overseas release, that’s it’s fairly likely that the production company along with the writers might feel like it would be safe to put out another film. However, this is just speculation. When films succeed like this at the box office, it can become harder to say no when it comes to continuing a series such as this one.

Iron Man 3 director Shane Black said he was “Sure” that Robert Downey Jr. would be willing to return for a fourth film. Iron Man 3 will be released in the U.S on May 3rd, and should see a lot more in box office revenue to go along with the 194 million that the film has already made! Congratulations to the films writers, director and stars for beating a huge record!
