There is someone out there with a grand sense of humor.

In San Francisco, a person is hacking the electronic road sign. Now, before you fret, nothing obscene was posted.

The sign said, “Godzilla Attack!” This sign comes at a perfect time. A new movie, with the infamous monster, just came out this past Friday (May 16).

Could this be a publicity stunt? Of course it could. But the chances are slim, so why not take it for face value?

This is not the first it time signs have been tweaked. Another person had a sign flash:  “Zombies Ahead”!

I recently saw a smiley face on one of those boards, too. Oh, what fun.

Besides promises of Godzilla attacks, signs have been asking, “Give this comment a million stars…” That is sweet.

A hacker, however, added this to the message, “Or else Solange will attack you”. That is not cool.

Do you want to hack a sign and send a message? There are instructions to do so. However, it is not recommended. It is an illegal act.

So, what do you think of these signs? Should there be more silly messages sprinkled around to brighten our days?

Sound off below!
