Halle Berry Wants Her Own Storm Movie

While discussing the second season of her series ‘Extant’, Halle Berry revealed she would love to star as Storm in an X-Men solo spinoff.

While promoting the second season of her show Extant at Comic-Con, Halle Berry admitted that she would love her X-Men character Storm to have her own stand-alone film like fellow mutant Wolverine played by Hugh Jackman. Asked if she would be interested in returning to the character again she replied by saying:

Absolutely. Fans have to tell Fox that that’s what they want to have happen!

She later added in another interview:

In a heartbeat I would do a Storm movie. I love that character through and through. So if that ever became an opportunity for me if it’s before I’m 65-years old I would absolutely do that.

Having played the lead-role in the 2004 movie Catwoman, which received far from great reviews, it was her portrayal of Storm in the X-Men franchise that made her increasingly popular with fans.

Whether or not anything comes of her hopes for the film, in the meantime, the second series of her CBS show Extant began on July 1st,  so viewers will be seeing plenty more of Hale Berry in the weeks to come.
