Here’s something to throw you for a doozey.
According to Square-Enix producer, Shinji Hashimoto, the company’s long-awaited Kingdom Hearts III and Final Fantasy XV titles will not be part of their E3 2014 showcase.
“I am extremely grateful to all the fans who excitedly anticipate Final Fantasy XV, and I’m looking forward to share new information when the timing is right. I would appreciate if fans hold out until then,” Hashimoto-san told Famitsu in an interview last Friday. He later added that developers are “eagerly working” on Kingdom Hearts III, but they are not ready to share any info at this time.
Sounds like both Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts will have to wait until 2015 for gamers to reenter their worlds. Let’s hope that the hype around them sustains throughout the new year, if that’s the case!
How bummed are you that we won’t be seeing these two purported killer apps at E3?
