It is been revealed that Paul Giamatti will be joining the cast of Downton Abbey when it returns for its fourth season later this year.
The Hollywood star who is currently filming his role as Rhino in The Amazing Spider Man 2 will be joining the cast of hit British Drama as Cora’s (Elizabeth McGovern) brother. He will be playing Harold Levinson who is being billed as a “maverick playboy”.
Giamatti joins a long list of new cast members which includes Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, Joanna David, Dame Harriet Walter.
Downton Abbey will be returning to UK screens in the autumn, and will air in the US from January 2014.
