One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles has said that he expects Taylor Swift to write songs about him during an interview with US Weekly.
The pair spilt up last year after only been together for a few months after reportedly having a massive argument while on holiday in the British Virgin Islands.
Styles said, “It would be hypocritical for me to say she couldn’t do it because everybody writes songs based on personal experiences. I can’t say I’d have dated someone less famous to avoid it.”
He also added, “I think relationships are hard enough, so I think you have to completely ignore everything from outside. When you’re in the opening stages of a relationship as it is, you’re still under the pressure of getting to know everything about a person.
“If you have a lot of people from outside telling you what it is and they don’t even know you, telling you what your relationship is, that’s weird. So I think you sort of have to block it out and just have the relationship rather than think – we’re having this relationship play out on magazine covers.”
At the premiere of his film This Is Us, Harry spoke about how he isn’t worried about becoming the inspiration for one of Swift’s songs saying, “At least she’s a great songwriter!”
Meanwhile, Swift has said that writing her music has helped her recover from her break-up with Styles, in an interview with E!
She said,” There’s something so beautiful about people who are heartbroken; they think about how they’re felling much more.”
