Chris Zylka has been cast to play Justin Theroux and Amy Brenneman’s son on the HBO series The Leftovers.
Zylka will be joined by Live Tyler, Emily Meade, Jake Robinson, Carrie Coon, Christopher Eccleston, Ann Dowd, and Amanda Warren in the show.
The Leftovers is a series based on the book of the same name by Tom Perrotta. It tells the story of the Rapture gone wrong. Damon Lindelof’s TV adaptation is about the people who didn’t get saved.
Zylka will play Tom, the college drop-out son of Kevin and Laurie (Theroux and Brenneman), who has taken refuge with a guru.
Theroux’s Kevin Garvey is a police chief trying to maintain civilization during the crisis, while his wife Laurie, goes off the deep end and joins a cult.
Lindelof is set to co-write and executive produce with Perrotta.
