HBO Pays The Late James Gandolfini Tribute In “Sopranos” Episodes

As you’ve heard from us and just about everyone else, the star of HBO’s smash hit, The Sopranos, James Gandolfini passed away from cardiac arrest on Wednesday, June 19 at the age of 51.

The HBO network has announced that they will be paying tribute to Gandolfini in the syndication episodes of The Sopranos by including a message in their telecasts that says “HBO mourns the loss of James Gandolfini, a beloved member of the HBO family.”
The Sopranos will be running on all of HBO’s channels, but there currently aren’t any plans for a special program or a marathon of the show.
